Our History & Ambitions......

Formed in 2002 STEELWORKS is based in Acklam Middlesbrough.   The band has 40 members and has developed as a result of funding support from Middlesbrough Council Arts Development and Youth Music and the Big Lottery.

"We can provide performance and taster workshop opportunities for community groups, schools and colleges.”

STEELWORKS operates an open access policy where people of all ages can come along to a rehearsal and join in. Rehearsals take place on Thursdays  at Hall Garth School, Middlesbrough.
